Application Checklist
STEM MBA

We’ve created a convenient list of required items you’ll need to complete your application. If you don’t have everything on the list, you can still get started.

You’ll need the following items to complete your application:

  • Transcript(s) from undergraduate institution(s)
  • Personal Statement
  • One Recommendation
  • Resumé

 

*A GMAT or GRE score is not required for admission, though may be sent by the applicant if they feel it could strengthen their application. Additionally, the admission committee may request submission of a GMAT or GRE score upon review of the application.

If you completed your degree program outside of the U.S., you will need the following additional items:

  • Official Transcript Evaluation (Completed by a NACES approved organization)
  • TOEFL/IELTS/DET (if the main language of instruction was not English). The minimum requirements are as follows:
    • TOEFL iBT: 90
    • IELTS: 6.5
    • DET: 120
  • International Student Certification of Finances

Transcripts

We accept unofficial transcripts as part of the application review process. Official transcript(s) must be submitted upon matriculation.

Unofficial transcripts can be uploaded to the application via the applicant portal or sent by email to graduate-business@rollins.edu

 

Transcript Evaluation – A “course-by-course” transcript evaluation is required if your undergraduate or master’s degree was awarded by a school outside of the United States. An evaluation can be obtained from a NACES approved organization, such as Educational Perspectives, World Education Services, or Josef Silny & Associates Inc. If you choose to have your transcript evaluated by Josef Silny you must also request an official cumulative grade point average report at an additional cost.

 

Personal Statement

Please respond to the prompt in the application detailing your reasons for pursuing an MBA degree at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. Please elaborate on how a Crummer MBA will assure your professional and personal success. You should incorporate details of your academic and professional background, your strengths and challenges, and any unique aspects of your candidacy you want the Admission Committee to consider. The suggested length is between 500 and 1,000 words.

Recommendations

A letter of recommendation is requested and submitted through the applicant portal. One recommendation is required. Please identify a professional and/or academic supporter who know you and can assess your ability to pursue a graduate degree in this area. Recommender contact information is inputted in the application and a request is sent directly to them.

 

Resumé

Your résumé outlines your career progression and highlights significant accomplishments and will be uploaded via the application website.

Application Fee

There is no application fee required.

 

Additional Instructions for International Applicants

International Applicants seeking F-1 visas for full-time study are only eligible to apply to our Early Advantage MBA, Executive MBA, STEM MBA or Executive Doctorate in Business Administration programs. There are two parts to this application process.

 

You will first apply directly to the Crummer Early Advantage MBA, Executive MBA, STEM MBA or Executive Doctorate in Business Administration program for admission. If you are admitted, you will then work directly with our Office of International Student and Scholar Services office, for the processing of the I-20 form. The I-20 form is used in your application for your F-1 student visa.
