Looking to Win Big: Announcing the Finalists for the 2024 Crummer Venture Plan Competition

The Crummer Venture Plan Competition is Central Florida’s largest venture contest. And with a grand prize of $40,000 on the table, it’s no small accomplishment to win. 55 companies entered the contest this year, and 15 made it to the semi-finals. Only four will compete in the final round. Second and third place won’t walk away empty-handed; they will get $20,000 and $10,000 respectively.

Since its inception in 2015, the annual competition, hosted by the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, stands as Central Florida’s premier event for startups, offering a comprehensive platform for business plan presentations and pitches. Welcoming startups based in the region, the competition serves as a battleground where teams vie for crucial funding, visibility, and mentorship opportunities, showcasing their ventures to prominent entrepreneurs, leaders, and venture capitalists in the area. With prize money up for grabs and evaluations by esteemed panels of judges comprising accomplished investors and entrepreneurs, the competition remains a vital avenue for Central Florida’s startup ecosystem to garner both financial support and exposure.

The following four companies will be pitching in the final contest on Wednesday, March 20 at 6:00 p.m. in the Bush Auditorium:

FlowIntell: For women with undiagnosed menstrual pain, FlowIntell’s non-invasive at-home endometriosis screening kit and app provides rapid, affordable results and a connection to specialists and community forums for follow up support.
