This year, Payton Mendelsohn — a first-year Crummer student — attended the Association of Managers of Innovation (AMI) conference in Boston, focused on AI and innovation.
She didn’t just attend. She operated in the room.
Engaging with entrepreneurs, executives, and innovators, Payton represented Crummer in conversations shaping how businesses are adapting to AI and rapid change.
“It was one of the most meaningful professional experiences I’ve had,” she shared.
Payton’s experience builds on a path already taken by Crummer students like Hannah Gilbert and Alexis Matton, who participated in previous years and are now graduating this May.
Experiences like this are not extra.
They are where learning becomes real: where you test how you think, how you show up, and how you engage in environments that don’t wait for you.
Opportunities like this are made possible through the support of leaders like David Lord, whose continued commitment expands what’s possible for Crummer students.
