A difficult team dynamic. A compliance obstacle that requires vision to overcome. And whatever else another day on the job might bring. In the EMBA, you and a group of your peers who face similar pressures in their roles will receive careful, attentive guidance by faculty who are renowned business leaders in their own right as you develop new and more complete approaches to solving the organizational problems already under your remit.

EMBA students receive attentive instruction from select members of Crummer’s esteemed roster of faculty, including Banor SIM (Milan)’s senior geopolitical advisor, Dr. Keenan Yoho, and bestselling author, national security analyst and Lieutenant General (Retired) Dr. Mark Hertling, who teach because they care deeply about sharing what they’ve learned with the next generation of leaders, in and out of the classroom.

We approach EMBA admission as a curatorial practice rather than a tollbooth: we don’t fill seats in a classroom, we admit candidates who belong in boardrooms. The results are cohorts that become close circles of trusted peers who regularly remain present in each other’s lives as sounding boards, confidants, referral partners, and sources of honest counsel long after graduation.
During the second half of their program, EMBA students complete a required global immersion experience through which they expand their understanding of international business through firsthand exposure to leaders operating in different economic, cultural, and historical contexts.

While the answer to this question is understandably different for everyone, the EMBA’s weekend course schedule, spread across just one Friday and Saturday each month, was designed to be as minimally intrusive to a working executive’s active career and existing commitments as possible. And the bulk of the work you’ll do as a EMBA student will happen where it can create immediate, positive value: in your actual work as a leader.
The program is designed for accomplished professionals, and a qualifying factor for joining an EMBA cohort is that you lead an organization or team in your existing role. Your existing leadership responsibilities themselves are what give you a context in which to engage our curriculum, contribute to class discussions, and apply what you learn at work. That's also the core value and benefit of Crummer's EMBA: we focus on developing how you lead from exactly where you are in your career, right now.
In the EMBA, our students bring their own workplace hurdles and challenges into the classroom. That may include ones about how they make decisions, communicate, lead teams, and approach solving organizational problems, but the sky really is the limit here, as our deeply experienced faculty and your peers then help examine those challenges and develop strategies to test and refine to overcome them, beginning as early as day one in the program. work.
Yes. Your cohort will bring their own leadership experience from different industries and organizations than those you're used to doing business with. The global immersion component of our EMBA curriculum will also hand you multiple international perspectives to how leaders in other social and cultural context make their own decisions and lead their own teams. And finally, you'll gain access to alumni via personalized introductions and networking opportunities that will extend the range of people you can learn from, both while you're enrolled in the program and for the long run.
