While compensation is important, and our EMBA graduates see an increase to their salaries of around 8% within one year after completing their program, your growth as a leader is better expressed by a rubric than a paycheck. Through Crummer's leadership development-oriented EMBA curriculum, our students learn to:

EMBA students receive attentive instruction from select members of Crummer’s esteemed roster of faculty, including Banor SIM (Milan)’s senior geopolitical advisor, Dr. Keenan Yoho, and bestselling author, national security analyst and Lieutenant General (Retired) Dr. Mark Hertling, who teach because they care deeply about sharing what they’ve learned with the next generation of leaders, in and out of the classroom.

We approach EMBA admission as a curatorial practice rather than a tollbooth: we don’t fill seats in a classroom, we admit candidates who belong in boardrooms. The results are cohorts that become close circles of trusted peers who regularly remain present in each other’s lives as sounding boards, confidants, referral partners, and sources of honest counsel long after graduation.
During the second half of their program, EMBA students complete a required global immersion experience through which they expand their understanding of international business through firsthand exposure to leaders operating in different economic, cultural, and historical contexts.

Absolutely. Compensation, promotion, and career mobility have always been meaningful returns on any type of graduate education, and our EMBA graduates receive them all, with students reporting salary bumps of around 8% within a year of finishing their program. But that micro view of growth is not the limit of that value, which also lies in being better equipped to make reasoned decisions and lead people and teams through times of uncertainty, to carry the confidence that comes from more fully knowing yourself as a professional, and to have authentic professional support from an engaged network that actively creates opportunities for one another over time. It’s this larger whole that should also be considered when calculating an MBA's ROI.
Students bring current workplace challenges into class, develop approaches with faculty and cohort peers, apply those approaches between sessions, and return ready to examine the results. The return can begin with a decision made more effectively, a team led through a difficult moment, or a persistent problem approached in a more productive way.
Faculty bring subject expertise as well as executive and board-level experience. Cohort members contribute perspectives from different industries, organizations, and leadership roles. Together, they give you people with whom to question assumptions, pressure-test an approach, and consider options you may not encounter inside your own workplace.
The degree and its career outcomes remain important, but so do the capabilities and relationships developed while earning it: stronger judgment, broader global perspective, trusted peers, faculty relationships, free course auditing for life, and access to a network of more than 7,000 Crummer alumni across all 50 states and more than 53 countries.
