Alumni Course Audit Program

One of the great benefits of being a Crummer alumnus is the opportunity to continue to build and refine your business knowledge for years to come. Crummer alumni are welcome to audit selective classes at the Crummer Graduate School for free. Elective classes open to alumni are based on seating availability and prior approval by the instructor & the Student Success office.

A class audit is, an educational term for the completion of a course of study for which no grade or assessment is made. Courses taken through the Crummer Alumni Course Audit Program are not for credit, but instead an acknowledgement is made on a transcript with AU (Audit).

Alumni do not need to complete assignments or exams, unless required by the instructor. Alumni are required to communicate with the Student Success office before the course begins to determine the instructor’s expectations of classroom participation. The instructor has the discretion to determine if he or she is able to participate in team/individual assignments/exams and provide feedback to auditors. Auditors should bear in mind and respect that the instructor’s prime responsibility is teaching the students, and that the auditors are guests in the classroom.

Although the tuition is waived, auditors are responsible for any class fees or books. If the auditor misses 3 classes or is a no show, they will be withdrawn from the class. Upon completion, auditors can request an official school transcript with an acknowledgement grade of AU (audit). All transcript requests need to be ordered through Parchment.
