Crummer Alumni Board Student Liaison Program

We are currently seeking student nominations for the Crummer Alumni Board Student Liaison term starting on Thursday, December 5, 2024. All Crummer students are eligible and may nominate fellow students, as well as self-nominate. Student Liaisons will be appointed to the Board as ex-officio (non-voting) members.
Applications are due by Friday, November 15, 2024.
Serving on the board is a rewarding experience and an opportunity for personal and professional growth. Completing this form will give you a more clear understanding of the time and resource commitment to this leadership position. This application will be kept confidential and on file in the Alumni Relations office of Crummer. Applications are used by the Board’s Nominating Committee to identify and vet potential board candidates.
All candidates should review the board member’s responsibilities when applying.
Student Liaison Board Member Responsibilities
- Serve a minimum of a one (1) year term on the Board.
- Attend four (4) Board of Directors meetings. Typically held once a quarter and at the Crummer Graduate School of Business in Winter Park, FL. (Board meetings on average are two (2) hours in duration. Accommodations are made for conflicts due to class.)
- Actively participate in one committee during the fiscal year. Time commitments will vary by committee – typically averaging one (1) hour per month via conference call.
- Make a serious commitment to participate in Alumni Association and Board sponsored events throughout the year.
- Serve as a conduit and advocate for their respective Crummer program.
- Share updates on the student experience with the Alumni Board.
- Provide feedback on the student’s perspective on alumni opportunities, events, and programs.
- Help communicate relevant information to students.
- Support Crummer’s mission and vision.
