We are currently seeking nominations for the Crummer Alumni Board term starting on June 1, 2025. All graduates of Crummer are eligible and may nominate fellow alumni, as well as self-nominate.
Applications are due by Friday, May 16, 2025.
Serving on the board is a rewarding experience and an opportunity for personal and professional growth. Completing this form will give you a more clear understanding of the time and resource commitment to this leadership position. This application will be kept confidential and on file in the Alumni Relations office of Crummer. Applications are used by the Board’s Nominating Committee to identify and vet potential board candidates. All new directors are elected by a majority vote of the current board members.
All candidates should review the board member’s responsibilities when applying. Preference will be given to local candidates, with remote candidates who demonstrate consistent engagement considered on a case-by-case basis.
BOARD MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve a minimum of one (1) three- year term on the Board. Eligible to serve two (2) three- year terms.
- Attend four (4) Board of Directors meetings. Typically held once a quarter and at the Crummer Graduate School of Business in Winter Park, FL. (Board meetings on average are two (2) hours in duration.)
- Actively participate in one committee during the fiscal year. Time commitments will vary by committee – typically averaging one (1) hour per month via conference call.
- Make a serious commitment to participate in Alumni Association and Board sponsored events throughout the year.
- Open to serving as guest lecturer in the classroom, mentor to current students, panelist or judge for student projects.
- Represent voice of alumni base and work with Alumni Relations team in creation of programming and events to engage the Crummer Alumni Network.
- Contribute $500 annually to board dues.
- Consider making a gift to the Annual Fund.
- Support Crummer’s mission and vision.
