Garr S. Williams, Jr., M.B.A.
Adjunct Instructor of Data Management
Promoting Corporate Data Management from a business context is truly fulfilling. I enjoy guiding students in understanding data’s strategic power and helping them develop the skills to make informed, impactful decisions. I take pride in inspiring future leaders to navigate the intersection of data, strategy, and ethics, preparing them for success in a data-driven world.
Currently an adjunct instructor at Rollins College’s Crummer Graduate School, Garr teaches Corporate Data Management, bringing over two decades of experience in data strategy and governance. In his professional role, he leads teams that deliver data governance and strategy solutions, focusing on data cataloging, master data management, and governance fundamentals. His previous work includes developing data governance frameworks to enhance collaboration and data literacy across organizations, as well as developing and implementing data strategies and overseeing client engagements. He holds an MBA in General Business from Georgia Southern University.
Garr has lived in Orlando for twenty-six years and is amazed at how things have changed! He has worked in consulting and in multiple industries including hospitality, healthcare, utilities, and retail. In his view, every new industry and each new consulting engagement is a chance to learn and to apply insights gained from other experiences – that’s what it’s all about!
