About PMP Certification

Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification is one of the most sought-after credentials for project managers in the U.S. and beyond. Our test preparation course curriculum will hone your understanding of key subject areas. The course is based on the Sixth Edition of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) and includes the following:.

  • Emphasis on agile and adaptive projects
  • New calculation for schedule variance and the schedule performance index using the earned schedule metric
  • New PMI Talent Triangle for technical project management, strategic and business management, and leadership
  • Only at Crummer ǀ Rollins — Experience Verification Form (EVF) Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to simplify the arduous process of filling out this form that is required to take the exam.

Qualifications for the Exam

Choosing to study through the Crummer Graduate School of Business will ensure that you fulfill the 35 contact hours necessary to sit for the exam. In addition to this requirement, you will also need to meet one of these qualifying descriptions:

Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher PLUS at least 4,500 hours experience leading and directing project tasks in the last 36 months.
-OR-
Possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) PLUS at least 7,500 hours experience leading and directing project tasks in the last 60 months.

Additional Details

While the Program fee includes all course materials, there may be an additional expense to download the PMBOK ® Guide published by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and provided free of charge if you are a member of PMI. The PMBOK ® Guide will be needed to finish the distance learning segment of the course. A PMI membership also includes a discount for the PMP® certification exam.

The Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College has partnered with Grail LLC for PMP® training. Grail has been reviewed and approved as a provider of project management training by the Project Management Institute (PMI) for almost ten years.

As a PMI Global Registered Education Provider (REP), Grail has agreed to abide by PMI-established quality assurance criteria. Grail LLC recently completed a major 3-year review as an REP with PMI which included a comprehensive assessment of the Exam Prep Course.

Prepare for Success

This program is a hybrid learning experience, with three days on campus at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and two days distance learning.

Tuition

$1,500 per person

The program fee includes all course materials. You will be provided with your own Adobe Captivate prime learning management system student account. Your account gives you access to 720 questions and answers covering the 13 chapters in the PMBOK® Guide. In addition, you have access to four PMP practice exams for six months after the class is complete. These materials include the Experience Verification Form (EVF) Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to simplify the arduous process of filling out this form that is required to take the exam.

Lunch and parking for the three days on campus will also be included.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations are subject to a $15 cancellation fee
A refund of the tuition fee, less the $15 cancellation fee will be granted for cancellations received up to 10 business days prior to the start of the first class of the program.

Cancellations received between 6 – 10 business days prior to the program will be subject to a 50% refund less the $15 cancellation fee.

Cancellations received within 5 business days will not receive a refund. Lack of payment does not constitute cancellation. No shows are responsible for entire tuition fee.

All cancellations must be made in writing and can be e-mailed (execed@rollins.edu), faxed (407-646-1503) or mailed (1000 Holt Avenue – 2722, Winter Park, FL 32789).

Rollins College Management and Executive Education reserves the right to cancel the program at any time and will be liable only for refund of the program fee.

A $15 administrative fee will be assessed for substitutes or transfers.
