About the Instructor

Mark Ward, Ph.D., PMP

Mark Ward from Grail LLC, is an educational partner with Crummer | Rollins and has successfully trained PMP students since 1993. He developed this course and is an approved PMI educational provider. He is a retired US Air Force officer, with many years of practical project and program management experience. He has a Ph.D., PMP, several technical certifications, numerous scholarly publications, and years of teaching experience. He is also a former PMI Specific Interest Group Vice-Chair for Professional Development.

Dr. Ward is determined to ensure that everyone who takes this course succeeds in passing the PMP exam. He provides one-on-one counseling with potential students and will be a resource to you after the course until you pass the PMP exam.

Qualifications for the Exam

Choosing to study through the Crummer Graduate School of Business will ensure that you fulfill the 35 contact hours necessary to sit for the exam. In addition to this requirement, you will also need to meet one of these qualifying descriptions:

Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher PLUS at least 4,500 hours experience leading and directing project tasks in the last 36 months.
-OR-
Possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) PLUS at least 7,500 hours experience leading and directing project tasks in the last 60 months.

You will be provided with over 200 complete study review questions that are presented in a mini-case study format.  These questions are aligned to PMI’s new Content Exam Outline.  Each question set provides a thorough explanation for each response across the three domains (People, Process, and Business Environment) tested on the PMP Exam.  Grail LLC will provide you access to all the resources you need to prepare for the PMP exam.

The Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College has partnered with Grail LLC for PMP® training. Grail has been reviewed and approved as a provider of project management training by the Project Management Institute (PMI) for almost ten years.

As a PMI Global Registered Education Provider (REP), Grail has agreed to abide by PMI-established quality assurance criteria. Grail LLC recently completed a major 3-year review as an REP with PMI which included a comprehensive assessment of the Exam Prep Course.

Prepare for Success

This program is being offered in a hybrid learning environment with three days of in person instruction at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, followed by two days (16 hours) online which can be done at the student’s pace prior to taking the exam.

The three days of in-person instruction will be on the Rollins College campus in Winter Park, Florida.

Tuition

$1,500 per person

The Program fee includes all course materials. You will be provided with over 200 complete study review questions that are presented in a mini-case study format. These questions are aligned to PMI’s new Content Exam Outline. Each question set provides a thorough explanation for each response across the three domains (People, Process, and Business Environment) tested on the PMP Exam. Grail LLC will provide you access to all the resources you need to prepare for the PMP exam.

The Program fee also includes lunch and parking for the in-person portion of the program.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations are subject to a $15 cancellation fee. A refund of the tuition fee, less the $15 cancellation fee will be granted for cancellations received up to 10 business days prior to the start of the first class of the program.

Cancellations received between 6 – 10 business days prior to the program will be subject to a 50% refund less the $15 cancellation fee.

Cancellations received within 5 business days will not receive a refund. Lack of payment does not constitute cancellation. No shows are responsible for entire tuition fee.

All cancellations must be made in writing and can be e-mailed (execed@rollins.edu), faxed (407-646-1503) or mailed (1000 Holt Avenue – 2722, Winter Park, FL 32789).

Rollins College Management and Executive Education reserves the right to cancel the program at any time and will be liable only for refund of the program fee.

A $15 administrative fee will be assessed for substitutes or transfers.
