Students Raise 670 Toys and Needs Items for Local Charities

MBAA Toy Drive

Dec. 15, 2014 - This year's MBA Association Toy & Needs Drive raised 670 toys and needs items; 170 over the goal of 500 items.  The toys and needs items were donated this weekend to the Beta Center, Winter Park Day Nursery, and the Boys and Girls Club at Eatonville.

The Winter Park Day Nursery will be setting up a free store for the parents to go through this Christmas.  All remaining items will be stored so the nursery can give birthday gifts throughout the year.

In addition to dropping off toys and needs items to the Boys and Girls Club, members of the MBAA participated in arts and crafts projects with the elementary students.  The students had a chance to make wreaths, headband antlers, and Olaf from Frozen cup figures.
