Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business Names Thomas J. McEvoy as Interim Dean

May 20, 2014 - Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business announced today that Tom McEvoy, the chairman of Crummer Board of Overseers, is the new interim dean. McEvoy follows Craig McAllaster, who led the school for 14 years, and will occupy the role pending the selection of the permanent dean.

Tom is the Senior Vice President, IT Services and Solutions at CenturyLink and has been a member of the Crummer Board of Overseers for 10 years. A Rollins undergraduate and MBA alumni, he was the featured speaker at the Spring 2006 Crummer School Commencement Ceremony, and inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame in 2006. Currently located in Overland Park, KS, Tom and his wife Judi Pease McEvoy are excited to be returning to Winter Park and begin his work as interim dean on July 7, 2014.

"I am very grateful for the confidence that Crummer has expressed in appointing me as interim dean,” said McEvoy. “I very much look forward to working with students, faculty and staff on strategies to further the program’s on-going commitment to excellence in business education."

Craig McAllaster, the longest-serving dean in the history of Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business, will officially end his tenure on May 31, 2014. The students, faculty and staff of Crummer express sincere gratitude for his 14 years as chief administrator.

A search committee for the permanent dean's position will be formed this summer.
