Crummer Management Program Adds Courses to Excel in Today’s Business Market

July 9, 2012 - Rollins College today announces a revamp of its Mini-MBA™ 18-week certificate program with the addition of three new topics. The curriculum is tailored for experienced managers, high potential managers and anyone who wants to improve their business acumen.

The Crummer Management Program – Mini-MBA™ presents a fast and comprehensive way to update management skills. The 18-week program provides solid grounding in current business theory and practices that today’s professionals need to succeed. Through a mix of interactive discussions, readings, case studies and problem-solving exercises, the Mini-MBA gives students the competitive edge they need for business success and the offers a certificate of achievement from Rollins College.

“The Mini-MBA™ Program has been around for 28 years and exposes participants to a broad spectrum of business topics,” said Erica Sorrell, executive director, Rollins College Center for Management & Executive Education. “With market demands for business executives changing, Rollins updated the program with three new modules. The cornerstones of finance, marketing, accounting and business strategy are still there, but we retooled the curriculum to add topics that are most relevant for today’s professionals.”

The Crummer Management Program – Mini-MBA™ caters to the progressive student through the original course offerings and with the addition of the following:

  • Sustainable Innovation – This module will address moving beyond business as usual and addressing the triple bottom line of profit, people and planet.
  • The Art of Negotiation – Students will learn the importance and fundamentals of negotiation all while developing a negotiation plan.
  • Change Management: Managing through Change – The main focus is to study the strategies and techniques to guide teams and organizations through change.
